Privacy policy

The controller of personal data is Gaelta s. r. o., registered office Novomestská ulica 9514/9, 917 01 Trnava, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 55966357, tax ID 2122141912, VAT ID SK2122141912. Our office is at Hlavná 26/34, 917 01 Trnava (Michalská pasáž, 1st floor).

We have no data protection officer because we are not legally required to have one. The managing director handles this agenda directly.

From forms on the website: name, e-mail, phone (optional), company / website (optional), the text of your message, the services you ticked, the product you came from, and whether you ticked the optional consent to receive news (with the date and time of consent).

From direct communication: whatever you write in an e-mail, over the phone, on WhatsApp, KakaoTalk or when booking a meeting.

From job applications: the CV, portfolio and contact details you send us.

Technical data: IP address and basic access data that the server logs to deliver the page securely. They serve only for operation and defence against abuse.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4) and advertising measurement run only after you give consent in the cookie banner. Without consent they are not loaded. We do not keep an interest profile about you.

• Preparing and performing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): when you contact us with a request, we need to reply, prepare a proposal and then deliver what you ordered.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): records of enquiries, history of cooperation and defence against possible claims.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): marketing communication you did not request as a reply to a specific enquiry. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): invoicing, accounting and the archive of documents.

We do not use data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Enquiries from the form are stored in the database of the hosting platform Lovable Cloud (Supabase) and in our internal systems (Gaelta Core, ClickUp). Access is restricted by technical rules (row-level security), only authorised people on our side can see them and an anonymous visitor has no access.

Other processors used by the website or our communication: Calendly (booking meetings), Ecomail (newsletter and marketing offers, only for contacts who gave consent), Google (Maps after clicking the preview, Analytics after consent), Stripe (card payments), e-mail and phone communication.

We do not send data automatically to partners whose certifications we hold (Shoptet, Upgates, Heureka and others). They receive it only if it is needed for a specific order and you agreed.

• Enquiries and communication: 12 months from the last mutual reply.
• Invoices: 10 years, as required by the accounting and VAT acts.
• CVs: 6 months from receipt; longer only with your consent.
• On written request we delete data earlier, unless a statutory period prevents it.

The database with enquiries from the form is stored in a data centre in Ireland (EU, AWS region eu-west-1). The site fonts are loaded directly from our website. If a provider (for example Calendly or Google) processes data in its own infrastructure outside the EU, it does so on the basis of the standard contractual clauses these providers normally use.

We have our own app on Meta for Developers called Marek connector - Gaelta. Only we use it, to manage the advertising accounts of Gaelta and our clients: we read campaign results and set up campaigns, budgets and ads. The app does not offer Facebook login to the public and does not collect personal data of Facebook or Instagram users. It works only with aggregated ad statistics and campaign settings.

If you want us to delete any data we hold about you in connection with this app, write to ahoj@gaelta.com with the subject “Data deletion - Meta app”. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm it by e-mail. You can also remove the app’s access yourself at any time in Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.

You have the right to:

• request access to your data and a copy of it,
• have inaccurate data corrected,
• request erasure,
• request restriction of processing,
• request transfer of your data to another provider,
• object to processing based on legitimate interest,
• withdraw consent at any time.

Write to ahoj@gaelta.com with the subject “Personal data protection”. We verify your identity and handle the request within 30 days.

The site runs over HTTPS and transfer is encrypted. The database is separated from the public layer and only a small group of people with their own login can access it. We update software and libraries regularly.

We may supplement or change this text. We always publish the current version with the date of update and inform those we are in active communication with about material changes.
